The Lower Highlands (LoHi) neighborhood is an electric environment that is growing rapidly near the Downtown Denver area. LoHi is West of I-25 and a pedestrian bridge connects the neighborhood to the 16th Street Mall.

This exciting new neighborhood has that mix of SoHo with a bit of San Francisco’s Haight Ashbury feel too it. Think hip restaurants, bustling cafes, art galleries, and funky stores.

With the completion of the pedestrian bridge in 2006 it has made it easier than ever for you to walk, bike, skateboard and rollerblade to a mass array of fun bars, restaurants and boutiques. LoHi offers something for everyone to enjoy. You can have drinks and dinner at Lola’s, Forest Room, LoHi Steak Bar or go chat over a coffee at Gallup and even stop in to get a gift at some of the many swanky boutiques.

Residents live primarily in renovated historic lofts and condos in LoHi. There are many modern lofts being built taking advantage of the Denver skyline views and abundance of amenities in close proximity. You have the Denver Public Library, Civic Center Park, Pepsi Center and you have Auraria Campus which includes the University of Colorado, Metropolitan State College and Community College of Denver.
